BREAKING: MLB has proposed the postpone the implementation of a salary cap and floor until 2028. They threw out new figures for what teams would have to spend. The cap would be $258.2M and the floor would be $180.2M, which would force a team like the Pirates to spend roughly $70M more. It seems like a good thing for the Pirates, right? Is there a chance the floor goes up even more before it gets to the dotted line?
