Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray confirmed that Joey Porter Jr. did leave practice with a trainer today, coincidentally at the exact time the media was allowed to view practice. Ray said it’s very tricky with a back injury for the team to call out the player for not being genuine. He said the Steelers may ‘have to make a call here’ soon regarding the entire situation. Ray said it’s been very difficult to get a clear answer from anyone on just about anything regarding the Porter situation. Ray gave us the latest on Troy Fautanu and Michael Pittman, who missed practice yesterday. Ray said the WR position will be right back to square one if Pittman can’t go this weekend. Will we see Max Iheanachor make his first start on Sunday? What are the trade prospects for Porter looking like?
