Hot dogs are a good thing.

Neither wind, nor heatwave, no ruptured Achilles will stop Martha Stewart from dishing up a good weiner recipe for the 4th.

The lifestyle guru has a new Discovery+ series, “Martha Gets Down and Dirty,” in which Martha gets her nails a little grimier as she heads out from her usual pristine kitchen jealousy settings.

In the ramp-up to the show that debuted July 1, she joined the Today show crew to offer up her expectedly more high-falutin’ version of the holiday mouth-stuffing favorite.

And I mean high, like piled high, alot. She had 10 condiments laid out, including the very Martha-like beet horseradish mustard.

Standing behind her “custom-colored” clay grill, and next to what looks like a food truck festooned with American flags, Martha offered a rudimentary drill on grilling dogs, sausages, and rolls.

She then proceeded to pile up a dog with her fave toppings, and rattled off a bunch of hot dog joints around the country that offer a “Martha Dog.” We assume those come with mango relish and a fancy kitchen.

In the end, the 79-year-old settled for a grilled hot dog stacked with Dijon mustard, relish, sauerkraut, dill pickles and bacon. Ketchup is for amateurs!

She also came donned in what to Martha is a chef’s bib -- a nice, iridescent blue blouse with a zipper fashioned in the upper left shoulder.

What, you expected a soiled “World’s Best Cook” t-shirt?

The clean queen also hinted at the guests she’ll bring along to dirty up their nails on her new show, including Al Roker and Kim Kardashian. That should be a funny one.

From this giggly Today segment, it looks like, despite a somewhat stuffy reputation, Martha is using this post-pandemic moment to try to have a little more fun again, just like the rest of us.
