Pat Sajak showed off some news moves on “Wheel of Fortune” recently.
Sajak, 76, tried to do a little wrestling on a contestant, Fred, who has dabbled in the sport. He’s also a drama teacher, bar trivia host, and pro wrestler. This particular episode was Hawaiian-themed and had contestants outfitted in Hawaiian shirts.
Fred told the show he doesn’t make much money from the sport but it is all in fun. He did make big money on the game show totaling $75,800 knocking out a number of “Wheel”’s puzzles.
Sajak went in for a “body slam” after Fred’s big win but it ended up being a bit of a friendly and awkward embrace.
The slam or head-lock came after Sajak said to the other contestants, “Just because he’s a professional wrestler, you want me to body-slam him for you?”
“Wheel of Fortune” airs weeknights.
