After sharing a bit of her fashion week adventures, her myspace music days, and what “cute” car behavior she advises while listening to “Speed Drive” off the recent Barbie soundtrack. Charli then delved into discussing album number 6.

While her past album was heavily inspired by Janet Jackson, Charli divulged her new album is influenced by “gossip.”

“I think that’s it,” she went on to say, “gossip, partying, and just saying things like how it is.”

"I was talking to a friend about this the other day. I feel like were about to enter this kind of era of Pop music where lyrically things change from being this kind of like overly flowery, like metaphorical words, into to lyrics that you would literally like say in a text to a friend. Like very blunt, very upfront, very to the point. So I think that’s kind of the direction that I’m moving in.”

Charli also discussed her collab “2 Die 4” with Addison Rae, which she said she might have just had to leak if Rae decided not to release it. As well as how she’s not in the least bit surprised at how massive Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is after opening up for her during the Reputation Tour.
