PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — For grandparents who have completed their COVID-19 vaccination series, seeing grandchildren is probably at the top of their post-vaccination wish list.
But health officials say not to let your guard down just yet. Be cautious, because young family members — as well as most others — still likely have not have been vaccinated.
If you don’t live in the same home, visiting outdoors is a lower risk than indoors. It’s still safest to stay 6 feet apart. Both adults and kids should mask up, but don’t put a mask on a child younger than 2 years old.
We still have to get to the point where most of us are vaccinated to return to the way things used to be. It may be frustrating to have these limitations, but we are getting there.
