The late Princess Diana always said that family was the most important thing.
On Saturday, her younger brother, Charles Spencer, treated royal fans to a rare photo.
The 9th Earl Spencer shared a throwback photo of himself with Diana when they were children.
The heartwarming photo shows the siblings standing side-by-side as Diana, slightly taller than her brother, puts her arm around him.
In the snap, she's donning a stylish pink and white dress.
Princess Diana grew up with three siblings: Spencer and two sisters, Sarah and Jane. Her infant brother, John, died shortly after his birth one year before she was born.
The photo come shortly after Spencer accused the BBC and journalist Martin Bashir of knowingly doctoring documents to help secure Diana’s famous TV interview in 1995, just a year before she tragically passed away at the age of 36 following a car crash in Paris.
“[The BBC] have yet to apologize for what truly matters here: the incredibly serious falsification of bank statements suggesting that Diana’s closest confidants were spying on her for her enemies," Spencer told PEOPLE exclusively earlier this month.
He revealed on Twitter that he is bringing it to light now because of new information proving that BBC knew Bashir used false documents and even helped cover it up.
The BBC said it would hold a full independent investigation into Bashir secured the interview once he recovers from his quadruple heart bypass surgery and COVID-19, per The Guardian.
Even years after her death, Princess Diana continues to be a fan-favorite royal. A statue of her likeness will be installed at Kensington Palace on what would have been her 60th birthday on July 1, 2021.
The statue was commissioned by Prince William and Prince Harry, her only two children.
Season 4 of “The Crown” will also focus on Diana’s rise to fame and getting hounded by the paparazzi. She will be played by Emma Corrin.
