New to the game, with his overnight hit (thanks to TikTok), CJ joined RADIO.COM's Rosa from KS107.5 earlier this week, to chat all about his trending track, “WHOOPTY,” as well as his plans to follow it up.

Revealing his upcoming EP will be executive-produced by French Montana, whom he regards as “family,” CJ finally spilled some deets about his follow up single “BOP,” that he’s been teasing for a bit, which RADIO.COM's Rosa had no problems with playfully taunting him about.
Well, we’re here for Rosa’s methods because CJ outrightly disclosed that the new track with be ”dropping in the next few days.” Following through on his promise, “BOP” has since dropped and even with its similar vibes to his previous single, the track holds true to its title.
As it’s no secret that CJ’s song has been getting worldwide attention, the New York native admitted that out of all the celebs that have posted about the song in support, 50 Cent was probably the one he was most psyched about. Saying, “Him being one of my idols growing up… that was a like a surreal moment for me.”
Besides 50, CJ was also name dropped, and rightfully so, Fat Joe, Cardi B, and Drake, as a few others that he was beyond grateful to for showing him love.
Important to note, CJ clarified that when he says “I’m addicted to blue cheese,” he’s not taking about the actual dairy product. For those who took him literally, CJ lyrics are actually a metaphor for money. One hundred dollar bills to be exact, which as CJ pointed out “has like a blue line in the middle.”
Also on the discussion list, bag management, or should we say bags, those sideburns, and what it was like the first time he got to perform one of his songs. Before signing off, Rosa asked CJ to share something about himself that we might not know. To which he replied, sharing that despite his less than low-key lyrics, he considers himself to be a humble guy.
