Amid a tumultuous breakup rumor cycle, Alex Rodriguez appears to be at Jennifer Lopez's side in the Dominican Republic currently.
According to TMZ, A-Rod flew to the DR where Lopez has been filming a movie. On Monday morning, Rodriguez took to his Instagram Stories to share a video clip from the luxury digs they stay in while they're there.
"Happy Monday. New week. New day. Onward, Upward," he wrote on top of the video clip. He also tagged Lopez in the clip, sending fans into a speculation frenzy about the status of their relationship.
Rumors began circulating on Friday that the pair had ended their 2-year engagement. According to ET, a source has negated these rumors, saying, "Like any relationship, they have ups and downs and are working through things."
J.Lo and A-Rod both told TMZ, “All the reports are inaccurate. We are working through some things." The outlet also reported that what the couple is working through has nothing to do with a third party.
Additionally, another source told People, "They never officially broke up and talked about it but are still together. They hit a rough patch. But were not broken up."
Just last month, Lopez had posted stunning photos of the couple embracing in the Dominican Republic, while she was on location for her upcoming film, "Shotgun Wedding."
Plus, earlier this week, reports of the couple’s twice-delayed wedding suggested that the wedding was back on track.
