Eminem is very committed to his craft, and by craft, in this case, we mean low-stakes stunts. Sharing some behind-the-scenes footage of filming the music video for his latest single “Houdini,” Em showed off his skill set for various short-distance falls and jumps.

The minute-long clip starring the rapper’s not-so-super alter ego, Rapboy, is captioned, “I do my own stunts. #Houdini video shoot behind the scenes – don’t try this at home!!!”

At the start of the video, Eminem reiterates the caption to the camera before the clip transitions to Rapboy doing a series of jumps off a bed onto a crash pad, repeatedly face-planting on the black mat. He then switches to a less aerodynamically difficult, but just as daunting stunt of face plants onto a dusty rug, this time from a kneeling position.

Bantering back and forth with the visual’s director Rich Lee, the rapper grumbled, “Oh, you want me to smash my f***ing face!?” Also noting he has no control over what his cape does when his face hits the floor.

“Don’t do the recoil,” Lee instructs Em, “That’s my head bouncing off the carpet!,” the rapper retorts. Revealing contradictory video proof, Lee begs to differ, showing Em on an iPad that he is, in fact, bobbing his head in anticipation as he drops to the ground. “Can you make my nose not as f***ing pointy?” Eminem quips back while viewing the playback.

Some of the other stunts Slim Shady demonstrates during the heroic demonstration of skills include “climbing,” stuff with a wind machine, multiple takes of tuck-and-rolls, and a fight scene.
