On the third and latest episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, we got a behind the scenes look at Kim Kardashian’s SNL hosting weekend, and conclusion to the resurrected sex tape drama we found out about in episode one.

As the new episode showed — after already being in New York to support his estranged wife on Saturday Night Live in October, Kanye West flew overnight to Los Angeles and back (on a coach flight no less) to retrieve the computer and hard drive that stored the so-called unseen footage of her and former boyfriend Ray J's infamous sex tape.
At her New York hotel, the morning of her hosting gig Kim requested her mom, Kris Jenner and sister Khloé Kardashian, join her in her room to show them what Kanye had done and things got pretty emotional, which besides being totally understandable, it was also okay because Kim hadn’t applied any make-up on yet (her words, not ours).
“So Kanye flew home last night and he came back this morning, and I want to show you what he got me. He got me all of the sex tape back,” she said, opening the suitcase, showing its contents. “And he flew home and got the computer it was on and the hard drive and [he met] Ray-J at the airport and got it all back for me.”
Before Kim shared the news, Kris and Kanye had a moment to chat about his quick bi-coastal trip, which impressed the mogul matriarch before she even knew the reason why.
“I just came from the airport. This is my travel in coach vibes. Well, I had to go to L.A. and come back so I just traveled to get something for Kim.” Kanye told Kris. Prompting her to ask, “You went all the way to L.A. to get something for Kim?”
“Mmhmm,” West responded. “You are something else. What did you get?” Jenner asked. “Well, that’s what she wants to show you,” West said.
Flashing to the confessional mode of the show, Kim discussed the generous deed, saying, “I know Kanye did this for me, but he also did this for my kids. I want to shield them from as much as I can, and if I have the power to or if Kanye has the power to, like that is the most important thing to me, and I’m just like so emotional because of it. And it just means a lot to me.”
When Kris thanked West and insinuated that he must have shelled out major money for the footage, Kanye assured her nothing except the computer and drives were exchanged, noting the family would never again be extorted under any circumstances.
BTW for major fans and Kar-Jenner heads, those pap pic below of a make-up less, oversized sunglasses wearing Kim leaving her hotel with Kanye in tow that had us wondering about their relationship status back then were snapped shortly after the emotional moment.
