NBA Summer League announces return to Vegas

League was a casualty to the pandemic in 2020

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - The NBA Summer League will be back in Las Vegas this August.

The NBA confirmed rumors of the players' showcase return from August 8-17 with a social media post Wednesday afternoon.

The annual tournament of games passed on a 2020 event at the Thomas and Mack Center/Cox Pavilion site due to the pandemic.

The NBA Summer League has been part of the Las Vegas scene since 2004. Players like Portland's Damian Lillard and former Lakers' guard Lonzo Ball have taken MVP honors.

Schedule and ticket information has yet to be released.
