On Saturday, a snippet from an unreleased Roddy Ricch track titled “Out of My Mind” surfaced online. Shortly after the song spread across the internet, an influx of shady comments arose.

“It’s safe to say Roddy Ricch blew up before we could see his true potential,” one Twitter user wrote. Conversely, some fans defended Roddy. “...Stop harassing artists fam, if you don’t like a project, cool, just move on,” another Twitter user wrote.

The Compton rapper swiftly deleted his Twitter and Instagram accounts over the weekend. Moments before deactivating his Instagram, he wrote: “Guess I’m a flop now. S*** crazy” on IG Stories followed by the peace sign emoji.

In December, Roddy dropped his sophomore album LIVE LIFE FAST. The project was heavily compared to his award-winning debut Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial. Currently, “The Box” rapper is working on his upcoming mixtape Feed Tha Streets 3.
