Chipotle wants to spice up your beauty regimen.
The restaurant chain has joined forces with e.l.f. cosmetics to launch a cruelty-free and vegan makeup line inspired by ingredients such as guacamole, corn salsa, sofritas, white rice, and pinto beans, among others.
And just for the record, the eyeshadow guac is not extra!
There are four products in the collection including a 12-piece eyeshadow palette for $16, which also comes with a coupon for a free order of chips & guac at participating Chipotle restaurants.
The line also features an $8 lip-plumping gloss in the perfect shade of red salsa, a $10 Extra Guac Face Sponge Set, and a makeup bag designed to look like the chain’s brown tortilla chip bag for $18.
“We’re always looking for opportunities to lead culture and make authentic connections with Gen-Z alongside brands that share similar values,” said Tressie Lieberman, Chipotle’s Vice President, Digital Marketing, in a statement.
“Following our first launch with e.l.f., which sold out in less than four minutes last spring, we’ve taken our collab to the next level with beauty products celebrating our real ingredients in totally unexpected ways.”
The e.l.f. x Chipotle collection will be available beginning on March 10th at elfcosmetics.com, chipotlegoods.com, and on the NTWRK shopping platform.
In conjunction with the makeup line, Chipotle will also offer a new limited-edition menu item entitled the Eyes. Chips. Face. Bowl.
The vegan entree was curated by “RuPaul’s Drag Race” queens Trixie Mattel and Kim Chi and will be available to order via the Chipotle app and website from March 10th - 17th.
