Audacy Launch artist, Jelly Roll, took home six big awards from last week’s first annual People’s Choice Country Awards. One of those awards was for Collaboration Song of 2023 in recognition of he and Lainey Wilson’s rendition of “Save Me.”

While Jelly was not in attendance to accept the award, Wilson gave an acceptance speech highlighting what a pure soul the 38-year-old is.
"Jelly is one of the purest souls I have gotten to know, and I think it is so cool that he has fans who love him for him,” she expressed. “He makes people feel like they can be true to themselves and their stories, and I tell you what that right there is special in itself. This is for Jelly Roll, y'all!"
Lainey’s words will ring true to anyone who has experienced a Jelly Roll song as they’re full of truth and vulnerability — something Jelly says will lend himself well to Pop radio as his songs have started hitting their airways.
“I think that I fit into Pop music by just bringing the kind of music that you can relate to,” the Nashville-native shared with Audacy. “The coolest thing about what’s happening in America right now is it’s popular to be vulnerable and honest and I absolutely fill that space.”
“Save Me” feat. Lainey Wilson is the perfect example of that vulnerability and can be heard on Jelly’s latest album, Whitsitt Chapel, available now, as well as on Audacy Pop stations nationwide.
