While Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is known for his big heart, the wrestler-turned-Hollywood action star is also famous for his workout regime. Now, he's got a massive house to be known for.
The “Jumanji” star just paid $27.8 million for a beautiful Beverly Park mansion, previously owned by comedian Paul Reiser, the New York Post reported.
On April 6, in an off-market deal, Johnson bought the six-bedroom, 12 bathroom property.
Located in the high-end Beverly Park neighborhood, it is known as being the most prominent property. Neighbors around the area include Eddie Murphy, Denzel Washington, Sofía Vergara, and many more.
Johnson won’t have to worry about his safety because the property has several gates for access in and out of the grounds.
The home is 17,630 square feet and consists of several amenities including a pool and spa, indoor pool, tennis court, an elevator, a movie theater, and many more. It also includes a large gym, which Johnson will probably use every day as he’s seen on his official Instagram page working out.
If the family wants to invite guests, the property has a separate 2,500 square foot guest house.
While the family has had successes with buying a new property, Johnson has also shared the lows.
In September, Johnson first shared how he, his wife Lauren, and their two daughters, Jasmine, 4, and Tiana, 2, had contracted coronavirus.
In February, the actor shared more details about the difficult time and his family’s recovery.
“In a 24-hour period, it had spread so quickly to our nanny, our nanny’s teenage kids, her husband,” the 48-year-old said. “Myself and my two-year-old daughter, we were the last ones standing until the very end, but of course we both tested positive.”
“We were on the fortunate end for something that has been so traumatic to the world,” Johnson added. “We got through it.”
