NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Landmarks are being lit in rainbow colors across New York state to celebrate Pride Month, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Friday.

The lighting of the landmarks also marks the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Marriage Equality Act in the state, the governor said.
The law, signed by Cuomo on June 24, 2011, made same-sex marriage legal in New York.
The landmarks—including One World Trade Center, Grand Central Terminal and the Kosciuszko Bridge—will be lit each night through Sunday.
