June 1st marks the beginning of LGBTQ+ Pride Month and while the COVID-19 pandemic has altered things, it doesn’t mean that Pride celebrations are canceled.
While many won’t be able to gather in person, plenty of celebrations have shifted to virtual events ensuring that you’ll be able to mark the occasion.
Here’s a look at various virtual celebrations taking place across America and how you can watch them.
Los Angeles
Los Angeles Pride will be celebrating its 50th anniversary this month with a massive virtual celebration. While details will be announced shortly, you can head here for more information.
San Francisco
San Francisco will be holding their virtual Pride celebration at the end of the month on June 27 from 1 - 9PM PT and June 28 from 2 - 7PM PT. Featuring a mix of live and pre-recorded performances, the event will also feature speeches and greetings from those in the community. Find out more information here.
New York City
New York City Pride teamed up with GLAAD to host a 3-day digital drag festival. Featuring over 100 performers, the online events take place from June 19 to the 21 from 6:30 to 8PM ET each night. Find out more information here.
Chicago
Chicago Pride Fest goes digital with a virtual celebration taking place on June 20 and 21 from 7 to 9PM CT. Programming will be announced shortly, but viewers will be able to donate to local charities during the event. Find out more information here.
