Brat and it’s the same but there’s three more songs so it’s not -- Yes, that’s what is called -- includes the same 15 original bops, plus “Hello goodbye,” “Guess,” and “Spring breakers.”
Like all the tracks that came before, all three new tracks fit right in, and more than deserve a listen (repeatedly).
As Charli demonstrated on Brat’s “So I,” about her friend and collaborator Sophie who died in 2021, and the insecurity illuminating “Rewind,” Charli once again reveals her vulnerable side with “Hello goodbye.”
But don’t you worry— we are talking about Charli after all. And just like on the undeniably catchy club hit “360,” the other two additions — the feverishly horny “Guess,” which is about underwear... mostly, and let-loose anthem “Spring Breakers,” about acting like you’re in a Harmony Korine film -- Charli kept things very on brand, and appropriately rated-XCX.
