It's been almost two months since DMX tragically passed away at the age of 50. The rapper, actor, author, and Hip-Hop legend died after remaining in coma following a heart attack.

Several reports have confirmed that the late rapper died from a cocaine-induced heart attack which prompted a lack of blood flow to his brain. The Westchester County medical examiner’s office told Vulture, “It was cardiac arrest for a period of time, so there was no circulation to the brain."
The anonymous source later said, later explained that 'acute cocaine intoxication' “caused this chain of events.”

The source also stated, “his death literally happened immediately because the brain was dead. There were a number of days where he was on ventilatory support and so forth in the hospital . . . However, he was diagnosed brain-dead early on . . . He never woke up from [a] coma.”
X's family expressed that he "was a warrior who fought till the very end."
