21 Savage has been cookin’ up a brand new project, and he’s ready to give us a taste, dropping the trailer for his brand new movie, American Dream: The 21 Savage Story.

The trailer, which also previews brand new music from 21, features Savage, as well as Donald Glover and Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin. Also making appearances in the star-studded preview — Golden Globe-nominated actress Natasha Lyonne, Bel-Air star Jabari Banks, actress Victoria Pedretti, Beef’s Young Mazino, Fast & Furious veteran Chad Lindberg, Gail Bean of Snowfall fame, and Druski.
As shared in the official press release, the trailer is directed by Donald Glover, Stephen Glover, Jamal Olori and Fam Udeorji and "depicts three generations of 21 Savage (Glover, McLaughlin) in the heat of a personal crisis."
While it’s been more than five years since Savage’s last solo LP 2018’s I Am > I Was, the rapper has stayed busy serving up joint albums with Metro Boomin (Savage Mode 2) and Drake (Her Loss) each debuting at #1.
That being said, a day after sharing the trailer for his brand new film, 21 officially announced his coinciding third solo album, appropriately named American Dream, would be dropping on Friday, January 12.
