The "Hit 'Em Up" rapper wore this ring during his last public appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards, three days later he was shot during a drive-by in Las Vegas and eventually passed away due to his injuries.

The ring was a part of the luxury auction house, Sotheby's, dedication to the anniversary of Hip-Hop series. It was initially expected to sell for somewhere between $200,000 and $300,000, but Mr. "Hotline Bling" himself far exceeded that number.

Sotheby's announced that the ring was sold for $1,016,000 which makes the ring the "most valuable hip-hop artifact ever sold at auction.”

Since Friday, Drizzy has been showing off the 14K ring on his IG story.

Back in January Drake also flexed his massive purchase of over $2.5 million worth of Pharrell's jewelry in his music video for "Jumbotron S*** Poppin." The video features several pieces from Pharrell Williams’ Jacob & Co. collection and the 14K three-tone N.E.R.D. pendant chain.
