The new flick, to be directed by Charles Kidd II, known professionally as Calmatic, will be interpreting a script by Black-ish creator Kenya Barris and Doug Hall, will see Harlow take on the role of a street basketball hustler named Billy Hoyle, played by Woody Harrelson in the original. The roles of Sidney Dean, played by Wesley Snipes, and Gloria Clemente, played by Rosie Perez, are still in the casting process.

Jack recently released his single “Nail Tech,” and will be headlining the three-day Forecastle Festival between May 27 and 29 in his home state of Kentucky.
