Travis Barker is updating fans following a life-threatening medical scare last week that landed him in the hospital.

Barker arrived at a Los Angeles area hospital via ambulance last Tuesday [6/28] with wife, Kourtney Kardashian by his side. Speculation flew regarding what exactly happened to Barker, and he’s now taken to social media to clear things up for fans.

"I went in for an endoscopy Monday [6/27] feeling great. But after dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since," he shared via Twitter.
"During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted in severe life threatening pancreatitis."
Travis concluded by saying he is on the mend and feeling a lot better after top notch care.
"I am so very very grateful that with intensive treatment I am currently much better."
