The unexpected but increasingly growing friendship between Courteney Cox and Ed Sheeran might have spawned a new musical collaboration.

On Thursday, Sheeran posted a video of himself with Cox sitting at piano, as she tickled the ivories he strummed on his guitar. "25th June," he teased in the caption.

After a two-year hiatus, a regular stint for Sheeran while in between projects, Sheeran recently revealed that new music is on the way and that his fifth studio album is in the works. While no release date has been shared, the musician has said his new music will be "kind of like an amalgamation of all the records" he's done.

Sooo umm, should we be expecting a collaboration with Cox? Okay, fine we might be getting ahead of ourselves. But you know what they say about friends that sing and dance together… One could possibly be featured on the others long awaited album. What? You’ve never heard that… weird.

The word you’re looking for is - anyway… This isn't the first time Sheeran and Cox, who have actually been close friends for years had us in a “friend”zy. If you’re alive and breathing then you already know all about their undeniable friendship chemistry, which was made evidently clear when the both shared a video of them reenacting "The Routine" from Friends season 6, in which her Cox’s character, Monica, and Ross, resurrected their high school dance routine on the set of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, with Sheeran subbing in for David Schwimmer of course.

Guess now we just wait until June 25 to find out. What should we do until then? Anyone want to go get some coffee?
