The ‘90s sitcom FRIENDS is sweeping the nation once again with a reunion special on HBO Max and it’s serving up all the nostalgia. Like that one time we got the “Rachel Greene” haircut along with every other woman who was alive in the ‘90s… including Mariah Carey.

Carey took to Instagram to share a throwback photo of her rockin’ the “Rachel Greene” hairdo featuring shoulder length hair, styled in a half up ponytail and side swept bangs. #nailedit
“A sad attempt at the Rachel hairdo,” Mariah captioned the photo with a laughing emoji.
The Rachel Greene access herself, Jennifer Aniston commented with, “LOVE IT” and a fire emoji. That had to boost Carey’s confidence!
Mariah wasn’t the only one reminiscing on the past. Aniston posted her own throwback tribute to the show with a video from behind-the-scenes of FRIENDS talking about its premiere night. The video showcased a giggly Aniston with her co-stars jokingly interrupting her every word.
She gushed about her co-stars saying “we’re pretty much in shock every day when we come to work and realize how well we get along. You know, No one gets on anyone's nerves and no one gets picked on more than the other.”
FRIENDS premiered in 1994 on NBC and was on air for 10 years before it concluded. The sitcom has stayed alive via streaming companies including Netflix which housed every show until 2019, when it all shifted to HBO Max in 2020.
The special reunion episode is now available for fans to watch via HBO Max.
