
Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac says there’s “no reason” for the band to tour following the death of Christine McVie in November 2022.

In a recent interview with Vulture, the 75-year-old unveiled her emotions surrounding the loss of McVie and the thought of touring without her “musical soulmate.”
“When Christine died, I felt like you can’t replace her. You just can’t. Without her, what is it?” Nicks expressed. “Who am I going to look over to on the right and have them not be there behind that Hammond organ? When she died, I figured we really can’t go any further with this. There’s no reason to.”
She continued, “She was like my soul mate, my musical soul mate, and my best friend that I spent more time with than any of my other best friends outside of Fleetwood Mac. Christine was my best friend…. We protected each other.”
While touring with the band is highly unlikely for Nicks, fans can still see her on the road as she has two shows left alongside Billy Joel and recently extended her 2023 tour into 2024 with seven additional dates. See a full list of her 2024 tour dates below.
