Hey, I'm Boner. I've been a radio DJ for the last 20+ years. I'm married with two kids. My goal every day is make people laugh....to escape the everyday and just enjoy themselves. My hobbies include not working very hard, never moving very fast and not lifting anything heavy. I also love sports, playing drums and a good IPA.
The Boner show is a live, local, music intensive show. It offers sports, traffic and weather coupled with a balance of bits, games and entertaining content. A live, local show that entertains like only Boner can! Catch me on Rock 105 week days from 3pm- 7pm
- What 2 individuals, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with? I never really got to know any of my grandparents. I would love the chance to ask them the many questions I have.
- What was the first huge music hit that you remember? Pink Floyd, Another Brick in the Wall
- What was the best concert you ever attended? I have seen so many concerts is hard to pick a favorite. Some of the best shows I've seen include Pink Floyd, U2, Rush, Iron Maiden and Van Halen.
- What are you passionate about? I absolutely love music, movies, baseball and studying the dynamics of nuclear structures. And not in that particular order.
- What’s your favorite movie? The Original Bad News Bears, The Wizard of Oz, Major League, too many to list
- Describe your craziest “how did I get here?” moment. It happened two minutes ago when I realized that I still work in radio.
- Who is your most & least favorite superhero and why? Pete Townshend from The Who. I know he's not a traditional superhero but he's written a ton of incredible music. And I bet he could fly if he wanted to!
- What’s the biggest misconception people have about your job? That all we do is hang out and listen to music. This is so much more that goes into this job. Sometimes we drink coffee while we listen to music. Other times we drink beer while we listen to music. Sometimes we don't listen to music at all. Mostly we just wander about the building wondering if there's free food in the kitchen.
- What’s one song that you have completely memorized? Call Me Maybe. Wait, what??
- What’s your most dreaded household chore? And why? Cleaning up the leaves in my yard. I HATE LEAVES!!!
