Back in June, bassist Krist Novoselic hinted that a 30th anniversary edition of Nirvana’s second album is in the works. “We’re going to have the 30-year Nevermind, but we’re still putting it together,” Novoselic said at the time.
When pressed to reveal what’s on it, Novoselic replied, “what’s on it? You’ll see. I don’t want to spoil the surprise!”
While he didn’t reveal the contents of the anniversary edition, Novoselic did say that he and Dave Grohl want to honor the anniversary by saying thanks to their fans. “The anniversary is really for the fans and what the album means to them,” he said. “If it helps people make some sense of the world, that’s great. You have to figure it out for yourself, though.”
