On Monday, August 29th "The Morning Wolfpack with Matt McAllister" will start their 2nd Annual "Service Pets For Vets" on 100.7 The Wolf benefitting Northwest Battle Buddies!
The weeklong campaign will aim to raise $125,000 for NWBB, an organization that trains and gifts professionally trained service dogs to Washington Veterans battling PTSD, helping them regain their freedom and independence. In other words, The MWP would like to fund 5 service dogs for an American hero in need.
Every morning, the station will talk to local Vets about their experiences and how having a service pet has changed their lives. Programming will also feature members of the Northwest Battle Buddies organization to share their stories.
The MWP will take donations live on the air from 5-10am and then be picking up money in the afternoon personally at any local business that can raise at least $500!
