HARDY has a whole lot of good things going for him right now. Collecting two ACM Award nominations (New male artist and Songwriter of the Year), a single in the top 15 at Country radio, and a recent engagement, it’s all good vibes for the Philadelphia, MS native. Well, until he had to fire his wedding planner.

The 31-year-old recently shared he and fiancee, Caleigh, had to say goodbye to their current wedding planner and start all over with a “new perspective.”
“We just fired our wedding planner and hired a new one, so we’re back to square one,” he told Audacy’s Katie Neal when asked how the wedding planning was going. “We are starting over and trying again with a new perspective and I think it’s going to be great.”
The change in plans is obviously not ideal for the couple, but it’s not something that’s got them down as they are busy celebrating some big accomplishments in HARDY’s career, like his recent nomination in the Songwriter of the Year category at the 57th Annual ACM Awards.
“I moved to Nashville to become a songwriter, or like initially that was my goal was to be a hit songwriter,” he shared. “That nomination means a lot, it really does mean a whole lot.”
As HARDY celebrates his 10th hit as a songwriter, he is also climbing the charts with his single, “Give Heaven Some Hell,” which has entered the top 15 at Country radio.
“I’m just really glad that it’s like, reaching people, helping people. I get a lot of messages and hear the stories and at the end of the day I’m really stoked that it’s doing what it’s supposed to do which is just help people.”
