After comparing compliments and pickup lines with Rob, thanks to their equally epic mustaches, Riley shared that the worst lines he can't even share. "The top 10 worst are not things that we could discuss on the air," Green notes. "'Excuse me, you like you love me' is probably the most annoying one at this point," he adds. "I just love it when somebody says it and they think that they're the first person that's ever said it."
Since a pair of sultry songs with Ella Langley, the romantic life of Riley Green has been a hot topic, which is fine by him as long as it leads them to the music. "I've kind of looked at it like, anything that points people towards my music or finding out who I am or whatever, is probably a good thing," he admits. "There's a strange interest in my personal life over the last year or so, without me saying or really doing anything. They come up with all these hypothesis their selves, so it's fun for me to sit here and watch, and all my buddies, my family, they all get entertainment by seeing these speculations about who I'm dating or what I'm doing and, if it introduces somebody to my music, I guess it's all right."
Riley remains willing to fuel the speculation though, offering to confirm false rumors to Rob + Holly on the show. They did land on a little truth too, when they asked Green if he ever did want to have children of his own. "I have an interest in kids, just not 17, you know what I mean? I don't want a basketball team," he jokes, compared to friend Thomas Rhett who is expecting his 5th child in March. "I'm looking for like just a couple of little kids to hang out with."
