2020 outlook: Even after trading Zack Greinke last July, the Diamondbacks still finished at 85-77. Having Added Madison Bumgarner this offseason, Torey Lovullo's squad has hopes of reaching the postseason.

Atlanta Braves

Pitchers and Catchers report: Feb. 12
Position players report: Feb. 17
First Spring Training game: Sat., Feb. 22 vs. Orioles - 1:05 p.m. (EST)
2020 outlook: The Braves did lose Josh Donaldson this offseason, but they're still a World Series contender. They added Cole Hamels and Marcell Ozuna on one-year deals, while re-signing Chris Martin and landing the top reliever on the market, Will Smith.

Baltimore Orioles

Pitchers and Catchers report: Feb. 11
Position players report: Feb. 16
First Spring Training game: Sat., Feb. 22 at Braves - 1:05 p.m. (EST)
2020 outlook: The Orioles will continue to follow the Astros' blueprint in the sense that they are attempting to bottom out for a stretch of seasons and rebuild their team through the MLB Draft.

Boston Red Sox

Pitchers and Catchers report: Feb. 11
Position players report: Feb. 16
First Spring Training game: Fri., Feb. 21 vs. Northeastern University - 1:05 p.m. (EST)
2020 outlook: In Mookie Betts' contract year, the Red Sox hope that their offense - when mixed with a potential bounce back from Chris Sale - can power them back to the postseason.

Position players report: Feb. 16
First Spring Training game: Sat., Feb. 22 vs. Athletics - 2:05 p.m. (CST)
2020 outlook: Much of the Cubs' offseason centered around whether the team would retain star third baseman Kris Bryant, rather than how they re-tool the team to reach the playoffs in the first year of the David Ross era.

Chicago White Sox

Pitchers and Catchers report: Feb. 12
Position players report: Feb. 17
First Spring Training game: Sat., Feb. 22 vs. Angels - 2:05 p.m. (CST)
2020 outlook: The White Sox haven't reached the postseason since 2008, but 2020 may present their best chance in some time. In addition to retaining Jose Abreu, the White Sox added Yasmani Grandal, Edwin Encarnacion, Dallas Keuchel, Gio Gonzalez and Steve Cishek this winter. Mixing those veterans with the young core of Eloy Jimenez, Luis Robert, Tim Anderson, Yoan Moncada and Luis Giolito could allow the White Sox to contend in the American League Central.

Cincinnati Reds

Pitchers and Catchers report: Feb. 14
Position players report: Feb. 17
First Spring Training game: Sat., Feb. 22 at Indians - 3:05 p.m. (EST)
2020 outlook: The Reds fancy themselves a playoff-caliber team in 2020, and perhaps for good reason. There's a lot of like about a starting rotation that includes Sonny Gray, Luis Castillo and Trevor Bauer, plus they added Mike Moustakas and Nicholas Castellanos to an already impressive offense this winter.

Cleveland Indians

Pitchers and Catchers report: Feb. 11
Position players report: Feb. 16
First Spring Training game: Sat., Feb. 22 vs. Reds - 3:05 p.m. (EST)
2020 outlook: Rather than trading Francisco Lindor, the Indians have elected to make one last push with their franchise icon. They did miss the postseason a year ago, but did so while winning 93 games. They still have a deep starting rotation, added second baseman Cesar Hernandez in free agency and expect a rebound from Jose Ramirez.

Colorado Rockies

Pitchers and Catchers report: Feb. 11
Position players report: Feb. 16
First Spring Training game: Sat., Feb. 22 vs. Diamondbacks - 1:10 p.m. (MST)
2020 outlook: The outlook in Denver is pretty bleak. The Rockies went 71-91 in 2019, and just a year after signing superstar Nolan Arenado to a long-term extension, it appears the two sides may be headed for a split.

Detroit Tigers
