Dallas County names July 6 'Luka Doncic Day'


DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - At the age of 22, Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is already one of the best players in the NBA, being named to his second-consecutive All-NBA First Team this past season.

On Tuesday, his in the DFW Area legend grew even more, when Dallas Country Commissioners officially announced July 6 as 'Luka Doncic Day' In Dallas County.

The resolution, which was passed by Dallas Country Judge Clay Jenkins, recognized the young Slovenian for being the youngest player in NBA history earn two First Team All NBA selections, as well as his work within the Dallas Community.

In his career, Doncic has averaged 25.7 points, 8.4 rebounds and 7.7 assists, per game, including 27.7 points, eight rebounds, and 8.6 assists this past season.

In the playoffs, he has been even better, scoring 33.5 points (the highest playoff scoring average in NBA history), 8.8 rebounds, and 9.5 assists throughout his career.
