The Brooklyn Nets will be without Kevin Durant for a bit.
The team announced on Sunday that Durant has been diagnosed with a sprained MCL in his left knee, although did not disclose a timetable for his return.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, there is optimism withing the organization that Durant will undergo a four-to-six-week rehab program and could realistically return following the All-Star break on Feb. 24.
Durant injured his knee in the second quarter of Saturday’s 120-105 win over the New Orleans Pelicans when Pelicans guard Herb Jones collided with Nets guard Bruce Brown while driving to the basket, knocking Brown back into Durant.
In 36 games played this season, Durant leads the NBA with 29.3 points per game. He is also averaging 7.4 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game and is shooting 52% from the field.
Durant had 12 points, three rebounds and two assists before leaving Saturday’s game.
