Kyrie Irving just dunked on his own sneakers.

The Nets superstar, who has been signed on with Nike for the last decade, shared a picture of the new “Kyrie 8” sneakers on his Instagram and roasted them, saying “I have nothing to do with the decision or marketing of the upcoming Kyrie 8, [in my opinion], these are trash!”

Irving also added that Nike will release the shoes regardless of his approval.

“I apologize in advance to all my sneaker heads true supporters,” Irving wrote in his post.

Photos of the shoe leaked online on Wednesday, and Irving clearly didn’t care for the design. His comments were published in a reply to a photo of the leaked sneakers, which are not yet for sale. While it hasn’t been officially released yet, it clearly isn’t Irving’s favorite among his signature shoes.
