The NBA and the players association have announced the findings of widespread coronavirus testing performed on players this week.
Sixteen of the 302 players tested positive, the league and the NBPA said in a press release on Thursday.
The tests were conducted on June 23, the statement said.
The league is scheduled to resume its season late next month at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, with training camps set to open several weeks prior. Players who do not wish to play are permitted to sit out.
