Perhaps he's not quite at the level where he's giving Tom Brady a run for his money in terms of championship parade intoxication levels, but P.J. Tucker is, as the kids would say, getting after it.
The 36-year-old forward was traded from one of the worst situations in the NBA, that of the lowly Houston Rockets, to the eventual NBA champions, the Milwaukee Bucks, and it's quite apparent that he's pretty happy with that switch-up. After averaging nearly 30 minutes per game in the playoffs, contributing with strong and versatile defense and a great veteran presence, Tucker's long and roundabout journey to a Finals ring was a success, and he celebrated appropriately.
First was champagne.
Then, there was... champagne.
And then there was an epic speech, one that was actually quite coherent and inspiring. Pretty much, he was brought in to give the Bucks the swagger and the heart that they needed, but Tucker argues it was there all along.
You might be able to guess what came after that speech. No? Champagne.
