When Shaquille O'Neal doesn't like something, the NBA Hall of Famer isn't going to raise his voice. Instead, Shaq will calmly dismantle you, rendering you as quiet as Papa Doc in the final battle of 8 Mile.
Ahead of Thursday night's Philadelphia 76ers-Los Angeles Lakers game on TNT, Shaq commended NBA MVP candidate Joel Embiid for his ability to take criticism and improve. While making that point, Shaq criticized his fellow-LSU alum Ben Simmons:
As Simmons continues to sit out the 2021-22 season in hopes of receiving a trade, Embiid is putting together the finest season of his career. After finishing runner-up to Nikola Jokic in NBA MVP voting a year ago, Embiid entered the evening average 29 points a game, with 10.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists per contest.
