The Arch Manning hype machine is only getting started.
The sophomore high school quarterback, who is the nephew of Eli and Peyton Manning and son of Cooper, has put himself on the national radar over the past year with his highlights at Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans.
And the Class of 2023 recruit is already getting multiple recruitment offers from some top tier programs.
Per 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong, Alabama, Boston College, Duke, Georgia, LSU, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Texas have reached out to the five-star recruit.
His grandfather, Archie, and uncle Eli both attended Ole Miss while uncle Peyton played at Tennessee, for what it’s worth.
While his last name brings plenty of cache, Manning has backed it up with his play on the field.
He is considered the No. 1 pro-style quarterback in his recruiting class and top recruit in Louisiana after a sophomore season in which he threw for 1,643 yards and 19 touchdowns to seven interceptions, completing just under 72 percent of his throws.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound quarterback also showed he can get the job done with his legs, too, rushing for eight touchdowns.
