Chicago Bears tight end Jimmy Graham avoided serious injury in a dangerous rollover car accident Thursday morning, he revealed on Twitter.
The 34-year-old said he was trying to avoid a disabled car in the center lane and was able to walk away from the accident with no injuries.
Graham did not require hospitalization, nor was he evaluated by first responders.
His car accident comes just weeks after golf legend Tiger Woods was also involved in a rollover car crash in which Woods had to be extricated from the vehicle and taken to the hospital where he underwent emergency surgery on two broken legs and a shattered ankle.
Authorities said Woods was lucky to be alive.
Graham, a five-time Pro Bowl tight end, is entering the final year of his two-year deal with the Bears this season.
Last year, he finished with 76 catches for 456 yards and eight touchdowns — his highest since 2017 when he was with the Seattle Seahawks.
