Bears coach Matt Nagy won't be present for the team's rookie minicamp at Halas Hall this weekend after being deemed a high-risk close contact of a family member who tested positive for COVID-19, NFL Media reported Thursday.

Nagy will participate in the Bears' rookie minicamp virtually, including leading previously planned virtual meetings. Nagy is in the process of being vaccinated but hasn't yet been deemed fully vaccinated, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported.

The Bears will hold their three-day rookie minicamp beginning Friday in Lake Forest.
