Watch: Ronald Jones breaks loose for 98-yard rushing touchdown

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones had been slumping the last three weeks, compiling just 66 total rushing yards after he had three-straight 100+ yard games.

On Sunday, he broke loose for an impressive 98-yard rushing touchdown against the Carolina Panthers.

The run was the longest offensive play ever given up by the Panthers and the longest run from scrimmage in Buccaneers history.

Jones' run came right after Carolina stopped a punt on Tampa's two-yard line with the Bucs leading 20-17, and Jones broke through one tackle and had only green in front of him.

According to Next Gen Stats, Jones reached a top speed of 21.19 mph.

The touchdown run is second-longest from scrimmage in NFL history. Tony Dorsett (1982) and Derrick Henry (2018) are the only two players with 99-yard rushing touchdowns.
