Buffalo Bills star wide receiver Stefon Diggs paid tribute to the late Michael Kenneth Williams prior to Sunday’s Week 1 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Diggs, who led the NFL in receptions and receiving yards last season, wore “The Wire”-themed cleats with a famous line from Williams’ character on the famed HBO show, which read “A man must have a code.”

Little, whose character robbed drug dealers in the show that centers around Baltimore, uttered the line when accused of a murder he did not commit.

In addition to Williams’ Omar Little, the cleats included other characters from the show.

Diggs is no stranger to rocking TV and movie-themed cleats.

He wore SpongeBob-themed cleats on a few occasions while with the Vikings and last year he had cleats from “Chapelle’s Show” skit of Dave Chapelle playing Rick James.
