Tom Brady has one more year left on his contract in Tampa Bay, but could this be the final season for the 44-year-old?
ESPN's Seth Wickersham thinks so.
In a piece that ESPN writers and analysts offered playoff predictions, Wickersham said Brady will retire after this season.
“We know that the Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger will retire. But I think Tom Brady will, too,” Wickersham wrote.
At age 44, Brady played all 17 games and recorded his second-highest single-season touchdown total ever with 43. He led the NFL in passing touchdowns and passing yards, while the Buccaneers finished the season 13-4.
Tampa Bay hosts Philadelphia on Wild Card Weekend Sunday afternoon.
