Today’s NBA slate features only seven games, but there are still plenty of options to choose from in the player prop pool. There are a couple of good matchups taking place, but I’ll go with Jazz-Pelicans as tonight’s marquee game. Utah is currently favored by 7 points and the total is set to 235.5, which means we should see plenty of scoring. Zion Williamson vs. the best team in the NBA record-wise will just be fun to watch.

As for today’s best NBA bets, player props are a fun way to wager on NBA games even if you don't like a side or total. I like to find matchups that I can exploit or good situations due to injuries.

Let’s dive into a couple of these scenarios now.

Jamal Murray OVER 24.5 points

Murray comes into tonight averaging 21.6 points per game (PPG), but that number has jumped to 27.9 PPG over his last ten games. He has also gone over this mark in four of his last five games, including a 50-point outburst just a few games ago.

Tonight’s matchup should provide plenty of opportunities for the Denver guard. While Chicago is improving defensively on a game-by-game basis, they still rank 24th in points allowed and 25th in field goals allowed. The total is at 226 points, which should mean we see plenty of buckets from Murray.

Nikola Jokic UNDER 11.5 rebounds

Another prop I like comes from the same game. The Joker is having an MVP-like season and comes into this matchup averaging 10.9 rebounds per game (RPG). Over his last ten outings though, that number has dipped a little to 9.7 RPG.

While Chicago gives up plenty of buckets, they are actually doing a great job of rebounding the ball this season. Chi-town ranks ninth in rebounds allowed. Zoom in further, and the team allows the sixth fewest offensive rebounds per game. It's hard to contain Jokic, but Chicago does have the length to at least keep him off of the glass.

Bojan Bogdanović OVER 2.5 made threes

The Jazz have been fun to watch this season and Bogdanović has been a big reason why. The gunner comes into tonight averaging 2.6 made threes a night on 6.5 attempts per game, so you know he is going to let it fly.

Tonight he faces off against a Pelicans squad that is really bad at defending the three-ball. New Orleans ranks 30th in three-pointers allowed and 28th in opponent’s three-point percentage.

The volume will be there and he will definitely get clean looks against this defense. This game also has the highest total of the night at 235.5, which means we should see threes galore.
