Astros To Begin Summer Camp Workouts Minute Maid Park July 3

(SportsRadio 610) -- The Astros will begin official summer camp workouts this Friday, July 3, at Minute Maid Park, the team announced.

Major League Baseball restarts spring training this week after suspending activity due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

The Astros announced earlier they would have players work out at Minute Maid and University of Houston baseball facilities. 

Opening Day will be either July 23 or July 24. 

Each team will play 60 games -- 40 against their own division opponents and 20 against the corresponding interleague (ie AL West teams face NL West teams).
