HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)- Michael Brantley was left out of the Astros starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Angels due to right hamstring soreness, Astros manager A.J. Hinch said before the game.

Hinch said Brantley is day-to-day, but also indicated he could be used off the bench Saturday and could be in the starting lineup Sunday.

Brantley is scheduled to start Tuesday's All Star Game in Cleveland. His .318 batting average is third best in the American League.
