HOUSTON (SPORTSRADIO 610) -- The Aaron Colvin era in Houston is over.
Multiple media reports indicate the veteran cornerback is being waived by the Texans after a poor performance in the Monday Night Football loss to the New Orleans Saints.

September 11, 2019 Colvin was signed by the Texans in the 2018 offseason, but did not have much success last year, starting in just two of the games in which he played. Prior to that, Colvin spent four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
His struggles had been attributed by coaches to an ankle injury. Defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel
said as recently as last week that he believed Colvin was more comfortable in the system and had a better attitude going into 2019.
But the team has decided to part ways with Colvin, who signed a four-year, $34 million contract which included $18 million guaranteed.
ESPN's Adam Schefter
reported Colvin is still owed $7.5 million this season.
