HOUSTON (SPORTSRADIO 610) -- Deshaun Watson is not expected to be limited in Sunday's home opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
It comes as a relief to Texans fans, who watched him leap into the end zone for a touchdown early in Monday night's loss to the New Orleans Saints. Watson was in and out of the medical tent with a bruised back side after a play that raised questions about whether it's a good idea for him to make such risky moves.

Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said Friday it's something coaches talk with Watson about a lot, but they don't harp on it too much, calling it "a fine line" between protecting him and taking away his playing style.

— SportsRadio 610 (@SportsRadio610) September 13, 2019"He has a very unique and great playing style," O'Brien said. "You know, the way that he plays the game, he's a very competitive guy, a very smooth and instinctive player. So, I think there's time you talk about having a clock in your head, or knowing when to duck out of bounds. But at the end of the day, it's a fine line and he's got to go out there and play the game.
"You don't ever want to take away his style and how he plays the game because it's an excellent style. But we talk about it a lot."
Watson was brilliant Monday night. He went toe-to-toe with Drew Brees, throwing for more touchdowns (3 to 2) and posting higher quarterback rating (114.3 to 105.8).
That's in addition to scoring the Texans' only rushing touchdown of the game.
Offensive coordinator Tim Kelly said Thursday coaches continue to have discussions with Watson about taking calculated risks.
"The part that everybody holds your breath when he does it is one of the parts you really love about him -- is that he's so competitive. And he wants to win so bad. That's part of what makes him so great. I think we're goign to continue to talk to him about that and just continue to (say) 'hey be smart and don't take unnecessary risks when you don't have to.'"
